Retention – Key to Growth

BNI (Business Network International) is a global networking organization that helps businesses grow through referrals and networking. Retaining members is important for BNI’s success, as members who stay in the organization can continue to provide referrals and help recruit new members. Here are some tips for maintaining the retention of BNI members:

1. Communicate regularly: Regular communication is key to building strong relationships with members. BNI leaders should make sure to communicate with members regularly through newsletters, social media, and in-person meetings.

2. Offer ongoing training: BNI members should be given opportunities to improve their networking and business skills. Leaders should organize ongoing training sessions to help members learn new skills and stay up-to-date on the latest trends in their industries.

3. Recognize member achievements: BNI leaders should recognize members’ achievements, such as reaching referral goals or winning awards. This helps members feel valued and appreciated.

4. Foster a sense of community: BNI should be more than just a networking organization. Leaders should create a sense of community among members by organizing social events and encouraging members to get to know each other outside of formal meetings.

5. Provide opportunities for leadership: Members who feel like they have a say in how the organization is run are more likely to stay involved. BNI leaders should provide opportunities for members to take on leadership roles within the organization.
